This is my second day fasting. My last meal yesterday was at about 9 pm. It was a good day today. I managed without much hunger pain or thinking about food. Got home about 5:30 and felt really hungry as this is the time I usually eat dinner.
The fasting cycle that I am used to starts with the last meal as dinner the night before, a full fast day on the next day with breaking the fast at breakfast the following day. However as I am just trying to get back into the routine, I find that the time from 8 pm to the morning is the hardest. But not from a being hungry perspective. It's more a feeling of alertness and restlessness. I can get asleep but wake up easily.
So to make this fast day a little easier , I decided to end it at 9 pm with a stir fry meal. This allowed me to get to sleep easily.
I felt good in the morning and still managed to drop 2.2 lbs compared to the morning before. Every time I start fasting again I find the weight drops quickly the first couple of weeks. I think this is mostly related to water loss rather than fat. My weight was 191.2 lbs.
